The COS football team fell to Santa Rosa Junior College on Saturday night by the score of 44-0. "My hat is off to Santa Rosa and their staff. They are a good football team and they outplayed us the entire game" said COS head football coach Irv Pankey.
COS trailed Santa Rosa 16-0 at halftime but gave up a quick touchdown early in the third quarter to make it 23-0. "We have some things to work on" said Pankey, "we need this bye week before we go into conference play against Modesto."
COS enters a bye week this week and then will be on the road for the Valley Conference opener on Saturday October 17th at 6pm in Modesto.
