Cheerleading Spirit Day a Success at COS

College of the Sequoias Cheerleading hosted a high-energy Spirit Day event that brought enthusiasm, teamwork, and Giant pride to center stage this past weekend.

Head Cheerleading Coach Tiffany Ruiz called the event "a huge success," noting that the day was about more than just cheering—it was about building connections. "It was amazing to see so many young athletes come together to support one another and represent what COS Cheer is all about," Ruiz said. "The energy, effort, and positivity were incredible."

Participants had the opportunity to learn cheers, stunts, and choreography from the COS Cheerleaders, while also getting a taste of the spirit and tradition that define the program. With strong turnout and plenty of smiles, the event capped off a weekend full of pride and momentum for the Giants.

The COS Cheerleading team will continue performing at upcoming home athletic events, including football and basketball games throughout the fall and winter.
