The College of the Sequoias baseball team keeps on finding ways to win, taking two games out of three this past week against Cerro Coso.
The Giants have now won four straight series in the month of March.
3-21: A three run first inning propelled COS to a 17-8 victory over Cerro Coso on Tuesday.
Dakota Stilson was 4-for-5 at the plate with 3 RBI. Isaiah Espinoza also had a good game, going 4-for-6 with 2 RBI.
Alex Garcia tossed five innings en route to his sixth victory of the season.
3-24: The series shifted to Visalia on Friday and the visiting Coyotes were not phased.
Cerro Coso defeated COS 9-5 with the help of five runs in the second and third inning.
Tyler Smith picked up the win for the visitors, throwing 7 ⅔ innings fanning seven Giants.
Sagun Gainey was on the losing end for COS. His record drops to an even 3-3.
3-25: Art Joven's six innings of no-hit ball carried the Giants to a 9-4 victory on Saturday.
The lefty was pulled in the seventh with Troy Stainbrook getting the call from the bullpen.
Stainbrook allowed four runs on five hits, but was saved by the Giants' bats the previous seven innings.
Next Up: COS will host Merced on Tuesday for the first game of the three-game set. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. The Giants will travel north to face the Blue Devils on Friday and Saturday.
