Four Giants selected to CVC All-Conference Baseball First Team
A quartet of COS Giants were selected to the CVC All-Conference first team on Thursday.
Alex Garcia, Gabe Corona, Wyatt Tilley, and Dakota Stilson received the first team honor.
Garcia finished with a regular season record of 8-2, tossing 83 innings, in 18 appearances. The sophomore from Exeter struck out a team-high 65 batters this season.
Corona hit .307 in 101 at-bats, pushing across 23 RBI. The sophomore also performed well with the leather, sporting a .993 fielding-percentage from behind the plate.
Tilley batted .303, while tied for the team-high in starting games, with 40. With the glove, the freshman infielder recorded 119 putouts.
Stilson hit .250 from the plate with 15 RBI in 2017. The sophomore utility man from Clovis helped the Giants with 11 assists in the field.
