College of the Sequoias Selected as Host for 2026 and 2027 3C2A Basketball State Championships
VISALIA, CA – College of the Sequoias has been officially selected to host the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) Men's and Women's Basketball State Championships in March of 2026 and March of 2027. The selection was made by the 3C2A State Office in collaboration with the 3C2A Management Council and the State Basketball Coaches Associations.
The prestigious statewide event will bring the top community college basketball programs from across California to Visalia, with College of the Sequoias' Porter Fieldhouse serving as the venue for the championship games. This selection places COS at the heart of one of the state's premier collegiate basketball events.

The COS Porter Fieldhouse is renowned for its state-of-the-art amenities, including two large video boards, a stadium-quality sound system, and theatre-grade movable lighting. These advanced features enhance the experience for both fans and teams, creating a dynamic, high-energy atmosphere that is sure to make the state championships an unforgettable event.

The 3C2A Basketball State Championships will feature the top eight men's and top eight women's teams who emerge from regional playoff competition across the state. The COS men's and women's basketball teams have been frequent participants of the state championships with both teams making the state championships four of the last five seasons.
